Saw Hsien Wey today! Truly by coincidence
but I'm SOO glad to see him! Still the same
sweet guy as ever : )

It's a few more hours to the 1st of January.
Guess what? Apart from going out with
Esther, Fel, Bern & Jess, apart from going for a
Entrepreneur Club Meeting, I; Angela Lu am
celebrating New Year alone, with the computer
and with my Economics Assignment.

I've been typing away and honestly, I find it quite
fun! Haha. I'm a born geek. Well, have to return
to my assignment. Have a blessed 2008 peeps!

And oh, before you start getting busy with your
life during the year, ask yourself:

How BIG,
of a centre
does God have in your life?

Is He the small valley surrounded by magnificent
mountains? Or is He the Sun where you are just
a small, individual star?

In a few days time,
It'll be 2008.
FREAKY.

Receieved a study brochure from Nanyang Academy.
As I scanned through, I felt this burst of excitement.
I'm so close to going into what I love, what I really
wanna do, I just can't wait :)

I'm just so glad that I've got parents who are fully
supportive of what career I want to pursue. I can just
imagine how horrid it'll be if my parents forced me to
study something I've absolutely no interest in.

Been writting my 2008 resolutions. Stayed up till 2am to
list what I want to accomplish next year. I seriously
can't wait for 2008 to unfold. It'll be such a blast
experiencing new things in life.

I've been in silence for too long,

I'm contemplating too much.

I think I'm having a nervous breakdown.

I've been battling with myself these days.
I've tried to sleep it off but the thoughts would
drag on, giving me sleepless nights.

I ask myself, what do I want?
What should I want?
God, what is YOUR best for me?!

I know for now, it's best to stay put.
But I think I need to escape till I collapse to a conclusion.
A solution, I ask of you Lord.

I beg for understanding at this point.
Patience, understanding, God.

Angela is back from Kuching!
The trip was GREAT.

On the night we arrived, we had the famous
Beef Soup & ABC at the middle-of-the-city hawker
stalls. As yummy as ever.

The next morning, there was Kuching Laksa and
Roti Telur. Then Mel brought Lisa & I for shopping
and lunch. Didn't buy anything though since it
was either expensive or nothing nice.

Having Lunch :)
Ooh. And before that, we went to BING's for smoothies
and the famous Brownies. Sinful; utterly sinful.

Rushed back and got ready for the tea session at night.
The couple served the adults for ang pows, and we
served the couple for ang pows. Haha. It was so funny
seeing Lance and Larry talking in Chinese.

We had buffet dinner which was good!

Later, Kelvin brought Mel, Lisa, Shu Yan & I for supper
at Waterfront. We had roadside burger &
huge mugs of teh tarik.

On Sunday afternoon, we were all sooo busy.
Mel even had to rushed through the traffic as
we were running late! Here's a picture of us during
the wedding dinner.

My cousins, Uncle & Aunty have left :(
Boo. I didn't get too spend much time with em.
Only had dinner and shopped with em yesterday.
Other than that, I've been idiotically studying my
butt off. Yes. Sad case!

Angela is back from the Leader's Review Camp.
Weekend away at Kiansom with other students.
I'm so exhausted but honestly, I had fun.

And, because of camp, I'm super stuck with
"Big Girls Don't Cry"; Fergie & Sean Kingston's Version.
Everyone totally rocked the place with our karoke
session of that song yesterday night.
;D awesome stuff.

So, I sued the culprit at our court session last night.
And, she got sent to rehab.

But I just missed them. They've all gone back to
Kudat. Only get to see em on Tues :(

If I'm not in school till 6 because of EB meetings,
I'm staying up late to do EB proposals till 1am.

We started our trip around 10:30 am.
Although we crawled slowly,
It was awesome inhaling God's creation.
Evidently, here's Mount Kinabalu.

We stopped by this visitors' toilet place
and took the opportunity to take our first
group photo. Cheese!!

Deniz, Bren, Sherry & I. We were pretty
exhausted from the journey so we all rested
on Deniz's bed.

The 4 behind-the-scenes girls; Deniz, Choi,
Susan & I. We were literally on our feet
preparing dinner and serving others.
Anyway, after the tiring preparation, we had
our own fun in the kitchen. Just the four of us.
Dinner served on the refrigerator.
How ingenious~

Our room was getting too noisy since the guys
came over. So, we slipped out and sat on the
cold pavement to chit chat.

The four of us; Me, Deniz, Choi & Susan
slept on the cold pavement and star gazed.
It was a sensational experience sleeping on
the cold pavement. I felt so free.
It was a definite priceless moment as four
of us got closer ; )

Us girls having out "photo shoot" before going
to the Ugly Sisters' waterfall. See some of us
armed with towels? Some of us were "specially"
going to the waterfall just to wash our face.
The water is icy cold but REALLY nice.

3 super girls! We climbed on the rocks to get
to the upper part of the waterfall. The rocks
were pretty slippery. In fact a few other girls
slipped and fell! Poor em!

Last photo before saying goodbye to the
wonderful wonderful waterfall. It was superb
going to the waterfall for the last time.
Relaxing & Refreshing.

We loved the beautiful scenery behind so
here were are, captured in a photgraph.

Bas Sekolah. YES. We travelled in a school bus.
Why? Because it was cheaper than the more
"posh" buses and it was the only bus besides
mini vans that could bring us up to Mesilau
Resort. It was perfectly fine travelling in it
anyway. Comfortable so yeah.

our bus plus some of the other people from
his bus stayed where we stopped to sightsee!

This girl has 2 birthdays. One is on December 1
whereby her parents registered her birthdate
as that date. And her REAL REAL birthday
is on the 5th of December, same with mummy.
Girl, thanks for being so down-to-earth!

My big sister Cheng Wen & I. During our trip,
all the girls were saying how they couldn't
believe I'm younger than them. Even though
their older than me, they say I act more mature.
Haha. Anyway, Cheng Wen started calling me
"mei mei" so I started calling her "jie jie".

We stopped by the flower farm and OOHH!
Doesn't this flower remind you of caramel candy?
I forgot the brand of this candy I used to eat which
looked EXACTLY like these flowers.
This is one special and YUMMY flower : D

THIS is also another special plant.
I'm sure it's self explanatary?

That's the end of our Entrepreneur Club Mesilau trip!
BOO HOO. All of us kept moaning and groaning
about coming back. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER
Yin Hong's screams while playing Ligretto, the crazy
icy cold bath I took, the four behind the scenes girls'
stargazing time, and the thrill I had climbing the
rocks with Choi in the waterfall.

AAH. School again. Tomorrow.
Sad, Saddening, SAD.
