and it's the last day of October.
the closing of chapter 10, the opening of chapter 11.
goodbye work. travelling. hair cutting. lazing around.
hello driving license. gym. make up. and whatever else that's to come.
prayers that this month will be a fruitful one :)
Last day of work today! Instead of working, my boss took me out for yamcha.
We talked about LIFE, past-present-future. She's like a jie to me!
Said my goodbye to Phey who suddenly had to resign today as she leaves for Miri tomorrow. She's my Chinese partner. We always converse in Chinese and she's the sweetest girl ever! Sigh. So many goodbyes. Goodbye Phey, goodbye Bren.
anyway, for those of you who are free.
Beethoven Virus is a MUST. Im so hooked!
xoxo.
p.s, HELLO NOVEMBER.
be kind to me ; )

Counting down the days till the year dangerously ends,
I've realised that perhaps excuses of putting things off shouldn't exist in me anymore.
Even though I hoped to accompish so much,
Talk is cheap- procrastination got the better of me.
So the plans I've carefully written out are becoming a bunch of meaningless letters,
I'm just letting life live me instead of the other way round.
Everything's piling up like a garbage dump,
Even with the knowledge of it I'm just living in it without a flinch.
I should stop moping about the past.
I should stop living in my own dead world.
I should start fitting the jigsaw pieces into its places.
I should start breathing a new life with meaning.
Yes, I should.
& I will from this second.

I'm home!

I'M BAAAACK!
And I wished I wasn't. The KL trip was seriously too short. Saddening!
But the getaway was awesome! I'm truly blessed ;D
The CIE Brilliance in Malaysia Awards Ceremony was alright. Nothing "GREAT".
There were like 200 other students from KL and Kuching who were there to collect
their awards. Anyway, the above picture is of the CIE Malaysian rep, the Minister of Education and the CIE rep!
My lecturer and I holding my CIE Certificates ;D
After the ceremony, travelled to Midvalley with my lecturer and her sister.
We met up with a few IS mates! It was awesome! Sigh. I miss my IS family!
We originally wanted to dine in Chillis but since it was packed and since we received
RM10 vouchers in Spaghettis, we decided to go there instead!
Deniz, Me, My lecturer; Ms Barb and her sister; Sophie!
Our dinner was good !
I guess Deniz and I really know how to order? HAHA.
At the train station, waiting for our train to arrive to go KL central then to Asia Jaya.
OMG. Transportation here SUCK BIG TIME. We had to wait 40 minutes for the train
to KL central and another 20 minutes to Asia Jaya. We arrived in Asia Jaya around 10:50? Last train is at 11 and we still had to catch the train back to Subang, but my luggage was in Armada Hotel in Asia Jaya. So Deniz and I ran from the station to the hotel, grabbed my luggage, and ran back. Exhausting, but anyway, WE MADE IT!
Us waiting. WAITING. WAAAAAAITING.
I like Singapore better. pfft.
Deniz and Oi Zien on top of me! Our feet were sore but there was no other bench available to sit on. Anyway, they're super skinny so it was like a bunch of
feathers on my lap?!
Posing in the train! Everyone were like staring at us but WHO CARES?!
AHJUMMA DENIZ. I know you're gonna kill me for uploading this picture,
but since I'm here, you won't be able to murder me just yet!
Ah poh Oi Zien!
Me ;D !
Us pretending to sleep. Evidently Oi Zien is a bad poser.
She kept giggling in all our sleeping poses. EESH.
Photograph before heading off to MYDIN then Sunway!
Deniz and Oi Zien had they're own stuff to do which couldn't be avoided after 3,
so I spent the day alone in Sunway. Sunway has changed! It's so BIG. It was too
Big so I got bored of shopping and went to watch Eagle Eye instead! Nice!
Sungai Wang! There was this whole crowd full of Malays gathered just outside
the mall, strutting off their shuffle moves! REALLY GOOD. I found myself grinning
like an idiot when they all shyly entered the dance circle and then started dancing superbly, forgetting their shyness!
Deniz and I in Sungai Wang, waiting for Kor to bring us for Mamak Food ;D
Kor, Felix, Deniz, Me, Sham and Tim!
Tim my timun! Met him online in 2004 through Drew, met up with him in 2005
and 2006 in KL and here we are again in 2008!
Shammie my ham sandwich! Haven't met her for 2 years!
We met in E06 and yeah! Love her to bits!
The baseball machine- press to play, make the balls go faster and higher/lower!
This is how the practice field looks like!
Waiting for the ball to shoot out from the machine!
Deniz tempted to bash my kor =__="
I LOVE BASEBALL.
I seriously felt like I was in a Korean movie or something! I think I've been
too influenced by the kdrama "9 ends 2 out" which features scenes like this!
Resting just after our baseball game!
AAGH. I miss the baseball place which was on the upper roof of 1U.
Gorgeous place, gorgeous view! The owner was super nice; Janet!
She even stood on the sidelines and jumped up and down cheering for me!
My personal cheerleader ;P
Masks for sale in the Halloween Exhibit Stalls.
Kor and I in the Halloween Exhibition hosted on G Floor in 1U.
Had dinner in SS14 near the Dewan Badminton/Futsal.
YUMMMMMMMMY.
Although eating in classy restaurants is nice, but I still prefer hawker stalls
where I can eat a variety of food and not burn a hole in my pocket ;)
Deniz and I ordered Lo Bak koh, Fried Mushrooms, Popiah, Stingray and Taiwanese
Super Spicy Sausage. OMG. You should have seen my kor, Deniz and I, ESPECIALLY
me! I was crying like mad as the super spicy sausage was a KILLER. It's a billion times worse than eating wasabi. Eating the sausage is like committing suicide o.O
But it was overall such a hillarious and memorable experience!
Let's just say, the KL trip was too short!
But I seriously enjoyed myself. Deniz was such a sweetheart and really took
care of me. I stole her pillow and blankie and bolster :/ And for the first time,
I went out with my Kor! We met in 2003 in KL through a camp, and somehow
would "sort of" talk to each other online, though he was always BUSY. PFFT.
Then as the years passed, we got closer and we finally meet again :)
He's the best! He really took care of me and made my short stay in KL such an
awesome one! Poor him! Because of me, we went to the wrong airport and he
had to rush me off to the right one!
Well :) thank God I'm home!
Gonna sleep! School tomorrow and LOTS OF THINKING TO DO.
Thank you ESPECIALLY to Kor and Deniz,
Great meeting up with you guys: shamtim :P
and thanks tudung lady - appreciated!
xoxo.

;
and she finally graduates from Pivot Point Hair Academy, completing:
Module 1: Scientific Approach to Hair Sculpture (Ladies)!
After my final haircut on the mannequin, Olivia came for a haircut.
From a same length convex hairstyle, to a increase layered convex hairstyle!
At first I was gonna cut her hair with my beginner scissors, but my friend; a hairstylist
asked me to come to him and then he offered me his proffesional scissors and comb.
His scissors alone costs a few hundreds but WOAH, really nice to use! I felt like a real
professional using his super gorgeous scissors! I'm getting one from KL this trip! :)
Alright! Gotta go pack!
`xoxo :)*
You leave me breathless.

;
The weekend was spent away with puppet performances.
Rushing in the dark, putting props up, getting puppets up on time.
The adrenaline rush I get makes me feel so part of the team, I will truly miss this.
1 last show in Kenningau and it's the end of our shows for the year, as well as my last performance.
Well, I can't wait for my getaway this Thursday. 4 nights away; sheer bliss.
Somehow I feel so drained these days. I need to be recharged.
Anyhow, I'm really thankful to God for the opportunity to be away in a different
surrounding. It should allow me to breathe new air; clear my thoughts and to
perhaps, find a deeper meaning in life. Upgrading self time!
P.S. My old baby is back :)
ecstatic.

The ahjummas date!
Wednesday, October 15, 2008

First picture is of Choi and I, second picture is a poser one with Ida!
OMG. Can't believe my ahjumma who was also my desk neighbour this year in
college is going off tomorrow to Sydney for translation studies! Will miss her heaps!
She just came back from Korea on Monday night and she got me this gorgeous diary
planner for next year! Really happy about it since I've been searching for one! I'm a
total planner girl! Without a diary planner, I won't be able to be an organised person
cause I'm a pretty forgetful person! Anyway, sigh, today's lunch date was just not
enough. We all have too much and I mean TOO MUCH to talk about!
Cut this hairstyle today. Not too happy with the fringe though.
The fringe should be more uneven! Gonna do more notching and slicing on it tomorrow!
Since I finished the first hairstyle pretty quickly, I got Wilson to teach me how
to curl hair with the curl iron. This hairstyle is the whole head layered hairstyle
which I blogged about in my last post? Now it's got curls and I'm pretty happy
with how the curls turned out ;D YAY.Work today was funny! During my working hours of 4-6, no one came. So I played
this Disney Cartoon Song Guessing Game with my friend; the boss! She kept on saying
that every song was from Lion King =___=" I suspect she loves Lion King too much!
Then when Bren came back from her free time, both her and the boss played against
each other to guess popular/used-to-be-popular songs from Ronan Keating, Westlife,
Leona Lewis, Ricky Martin, Nsync, Britney Spears, MLTR and etc! It was hilarious!
Well, gotta go! XOXO.
Perth trip and weekend recap!

Annyonggg!

On the first day I arrived, Lisa took me for Korean Dinner!
We had bibimbap, kimchi pancake, and beef bulgogi! YUMMY.
Sarah, Yin Hong and I at this cafe where we had the most sinful
ice chocolate shakes with ice cream and whip cream!
Public Toilet near the Perth Convention Centre! Opens like a lift,
then classical music starts to play, theres the washing basin where soap,
water and the hand dryer automatically operates. Below is the toilet bowl
and there's the toilet roll machine where you've to press the blue button for
toilet paper!

By the esplanade which was FREEZING COLD!
I thought this was some monument until I look carefully and realised
it was a Sun Dial!

The background is the bell tower and does anyone spot two starfish? ;D

The above 3 pictures were taken in Oyster Bar!
There's Irene and I. We met 5 years ago in this Shanghai tour trip and
then lost contact. Then coincidentally, we were on the same flight to Perth,
also placed in the same row of seats so TADAA!
This is in a Japanese restaurant; Hanami!
The food was good and I loved how the napkins were folded! Creative!
Tudung Lady & I!
We met online through my bestie, and our parents know each other, but
we never met face to face since he's in Perth and I'm in KK. And we lost contact
for 3 years but ngam ngam he found my email and messaged me on the day
I was to leave for Perth. So we arranged to meet up and we clicked off well :)
WAFFLES WITH RUM RAISIN GELATO, WHIP CREAM & MAPLE SYRUP.

Superbly delicious.
& yours truly was a very happy girl that day.

Youth Steamboat dinner! Yummy but not enough!
The Perth Royal Showgrounds Map!
Bulldogs from a bulldog competition which we watched for a while.
Homeless dogs- SUPER ADORABLE.
I took a photo with this silver angel lady and then after thanking her,
she suddenly sprinkled stardust on my shoulder!
An acrobatic show we watched which was really good! This super flexible girl
was bending her body into all kinds of positions, at the same time, balancing
lighted candles on its holder all over her body! She's good! Didn't manage to
take other pictures since I would have to use flash, and my flash seemed pretty
disturbing to the performers who definitely needed 100% concentration for the
stunts they pulled! My fave performance was one done by this 14 year old girl!
This bird kept running so I couldn't get a clear picture. But she looks like she
has a brain tumour eh or a beehive hairstyle ;D
Aren't the pigs just sooo adorable especially their curly tails?
Crispy barbequed pork! :S
Aww.. "And pigs might fly". The famous quote from Babe!

A sleeping Brahman bull!

Hidden behind Hsiao Wui and Lisa is Jean; a highland cattle!
She is 18 months and is VERYYYY HUGE.
The baby chicks had like their little own playground where they had to sit
on the seats and the circle thingy would spin and spin and the chicks would
scream: WHEEEE!
A show bag station where lisa bought two showbags in which I had to carry
1 back and IT NEARLY BROKE MY SHOULDER O.O
Jie and I resting on the benches of this cooking show place (below picture)
A lady chef was preparing for a show later on. Too bad we missed it since
the cooking show was like 1/2 hour later and we wanted to explore around.
Freebiees! Debby! Freebies ;D This ice cream was GOOD.

The above three pictures are taken in this Scary House show in the Perth Royal Show.
Didn't go for the ride cause it costed 8 bucks per entry and I'm not easily scared by
this sorta thing. It was some 3D show which both Lisa and Hsiao Wui did go and well,
Lisa said it was interesting, and some people did scream their lungs out!

Sari and my jie! One of the nights, we were invited by Sari for aHari Raya dinner! It was an awesome experience as I've always wanted to see
how it was like to attend a Hari Raya dinner celebration! The food was good,
ESPECIALLY the delicious honey chicken with spices!
On Friday, when my sister had to work, went to visit the Art and National Musuem.
Got really inspired in the Art Musuem. Too bad I wasn't allowed to take photos of
the art pictures exhibited in the musuem!
Miss Grace why are you sulking?! Get Joyce to give you some joy!
Grace: Take a photo of me and my new purse! I love my new purse!
Dont you think its so pretty ;) (beams like a sweet innocent kid)
Mel, Joyce, Ms Bones and Debby!
Allison, Serene, Amanda, Lilian and I in Utopia after dinner!
Theresa and I!
Serene attempting her first shot at the miniature golf course! The first hole,
Serene completed in just 2 SHOTS, my sister in 3 and me :( in 7! But after a while,
I started improving and finished one hole in 2 shots!
Yam with fried onions on top, fried rice, chicken wing, herbal egg, pizza slice,
chinese style hot dog, salted veggie with pork hamburger and a slice of rich
chocolate cake (which has been eatened already).
LUNCH TIME. Lunch period is always my fave fave fave. In fact, all meal times
are my favourite. Haha. Lunch that day was good!
My jie caught us all in action when we were laughing and yeah,
this photo is one of my fave's cause everyone looks so fresh and natural!
Esther, Joyce and I :) My whacky RED teammates!
Jordon, Jie and Debby! Guess how old Jordon is?!
He looks around 16-19 ish right BUT HE'S ONLY 13 YEARS OLD.
SO FREAKING YOUNG o.O
Mel and I!
Ken helping me get drinking water :)
Take 1: My jie and a trying-to-look-seductive Serene.
Take 2: And naughty Amanda decides to push Serene's face,
not to mention her lips on my jie's cheeks! Tsk tsk!
Allison and Amanda. I think? Okay, I'm confused now.
I think Allison is the one on the left, and Amanda the one on the right :S
Dinner at a BBQ Pork coffee shop after the maze! Entering the shop immediately
reminded me of how much I missed bbq-ed pork. CRISPY PORK=YUMMYYY.

Went out with Yin Hong and Sarah one last time before I left!
We stuffed ourselves with mexican food, gulped boost juice and ended
with yummy waffles with rum raisin gelato ice cream at Gelares!
Back home's waffles with rum raisin gelato is NO WHERE CLOSE to Aussie's one!
Eva; Lisa!
Wall-E; Me! Okay, I should have looked more sad.
My sister took me to Freemantle to walk around and get inspired!
However, we covered the whole place pretty quickly so we decided to watch Wall E!
Although the movie has no "solid" plot, but there were many scenes that were very
touching! To remember the movie, my sister and I decided to impersonate
Eva and Wall E ;) Haha.
WA's No. 1 Fish and Chips with vinegar and salt in Cicerella's! Delicious!
And chili mussels with bread! It was good but I got full too fast since I had
fried chili squid tentacles while waiting for everyone! Sigh, sad case didn't
get to take a group photo with everyone who went for the dinner!
*Ken, send to me the group photo that you managed to take yeah!
Lunch before rock climbing in a Korean coffee shop near Myers.
Icey Ice fruit smoothies and bibimbap! Delicious but too filling!
Dear Serene treated us lunch and jie treated the drinks!

Debby celebrating with us over her successful rock climb! Haha.
Lisa's favourite picture of the day! Serene: I can fly!!
Lisa trying to Karate Kick Serene and Serene being very happy about it ;D
Sigh! During rock climbing, my camera just had to have some emotional problems
of its own so as you can see, the above few pictures are not that great. But had a
lot of fun climbing though it seriously caused great pains to my arms the next day!!

Last Friday, washed, cut and blowed Deniz's hair in the saloon! It felt great!
At first, I was pretty scared that I'd screw up, but yeah, Deniz kept encouraging me
to relax and said nevermind if I made a mistake since her hair is long and still can grow back! Cut a convex hairstyle for her and did pointing and slicing so that her hair would have a softer look! Doesn't she look sooo pretty ;)
Anyway, Deniz left on Sunday noon and I konked out the rest of the day.
Only today I've finally "recovered" from my Perth trip. Weird!
Today, went to school to take photograph, then went for hairdressing class!
Washed, blowed and styled Wilson's hair and got know him better!
Made friends with the new student; Rowena and she's pretty quiet.
Work was good, told my boss/friend that she's SCARY.
We reviewed the market survey and report I conducted and wrote and I
did a GREAT job ;D as she says, BUT except for one shop which wasn't as
detailed as the others. That particular shop was hard to do my research eh!
The man kept following me around and there were SO MANY THINGS in the
shop so I had a hard time memorizing the prices and taking note of all the stuff
sold in his shop. Tough life ;(
Well, to end off, SIGH. I got a call today asking whether I was interested
in joining the crew of this British Company who's coming down to film
in Gayana Island this plane crash scene. There's a total of 60 people in the
crew of which there's 25 actors/actress! I've been asked whether
I wanna act as the locals! There will be people from Jakarta, KL, Tokyo,
Seoul, Hong Kong, and UK. We'll be staying in Gayana Island Resort throughout
the filming time. BUT THE HORRIBLE TROUBLE IS, it's from next Tuesday
till Friday and I'm off to KL on Wednesday. GRRRRRRR!
Saddening -.-''
Well this has been a looong post so that's all! xoxo.
