Can't believe it's Friday already! Today flew by real fast for me. Was pretty cooped up with drawing and colouring. Yes, I'm starting to revive my passion for art :)
Anyway, gonna apply for a Maths crash course. Need to finish it in one month and get at least 70% to apply for my Bachelor of Business Economics and Finance degree. I'm pretty scared about Maths again but argh. Better to do something that picks my brain rather than rot away. Prayers, prayers people!
Apart from that, the week has been great! Met dear Esther up and she treated starbucks! It was really awesome catching up and yeah, thanks dear! Enjoyed our vegetarian Indian dinner ;)
Went out with Ming as well which went well. Caught a train to a suburb which name I forgot, and had yummy brunch! Then we ventured around and he treated me delicious ice cream in KOKO Black! Thanks ming! I'll never forget your "flowers" phrase.
Can't wait for tomorrow! Highlight of my week is always the weekend! Cousins, cousins, cousins and church mates!! Kev's coming for my successful dessert before church. Pandan Pana Cotta which probably totals to like 800-100 calories? Super super sinful but yeah, since I bought the ingredients so no choice! First and last time but IT'S SO GOOD :(
Anyway, one of the most delicious songs ever! Im Old Fashioned; Sara Gazarek
Let there be light;

These days have been extremely difficult. And my only source of hope is God alone. You know you want to turn to someone, But what can they really do? Things are just too complicated. It's now between you and God.
God, at this very moment, I ask that you reveal yourself clearly to me. Show to me what you've decided for me, Let me not lose heart but to press on and have faith.
- Crashed my sister's orientation today! Well, we appeared for like a few minutes and then left. Did my enquiry stuff which hogged the whole morning. Returned back for the last few minutes and ate free food. Lol.
And just that 1 hour trip was incredibly exhausting! Caps off to my sister who's gonna do it everyday for her 1st Sem. Seriously tiring and mind boggling. Not my cuppa tea.
Anyway, currently facing a few hard concrete walls in life. Everything that went smooth sailing just plunged into the sea. I really really pray God will resolve everything well. I can only trust in Him and His perfect plan for me.
But I'm thankful I discovered the flaw fast. And that I'm correcting it fast so that I won't look back and regret. Everyday is a difficult walk, but when it's all done, I know I'm gonna stronger.
I am EXHAUSTED! This whole weekend had just been fun, fun, FUN! Sleptover at David and Lydia's place during the weekend. We all watched "Slumdog Millionaire" which was good!
This morning, baked baby sized banana muffins with Mel. Then everyone started coming by 11 and the BBQ was fabulous. The first photo is of a few of us playing uno/snap game! It was hilarious how Lance kept scaring everyone with his fake moves.
Second photo: ALMOST COMPLETE melb family photo! Melly you're missing :( Hurry and come back to Melb. But anyway, I love my cousins so much. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
Kelv sent us home and we got started on cleaning the apartment. AND made Ba Ku Teh for dinner YUMMMY. Nel and Kelv came over for dinner and it was entertaining. Overall, I rate this weekend a 9/10 :) Thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Well, yours truly has had a tiring weekend. Got to recharge myself to be prepared for tomorrow. Doomsday : GOD GIVE ME A CLEAR ANSWER. Prayers, prayers.
The break in life.

Today was my third day of uni life. So far, not a walk in the park at all. I have two assignments lined up, one worth 5%, the other 20% of 1 Semester scores. And oh, one's due this Monday. "Just great"
Have attended 5 different lectures, some which last 3 hours, others which last 5 hours. Have had "Fibres and Fabrics" which is challenging, "Fashion Designing" which is extremely tough, "Production" which is scary, "Fashion Drawing" which is mind boggling and "Fashion Computing" which is so far, okay?
And yes, today after lectures, I suddenly thought, "what if Fashion Technology is not for me?" It's just all been pretty discouraging and difficult for me. And honestly, I'm struggling. I hate this feeling.
So really gotta trust God and work really really hard. Since uni started, although it's just been the first 3 days, been returning home late just to do research in the library. I, Angela, will succeed and excel. I WILL OVERCOME THESE CHALLENGES!
People, just pray for me to not lose faith and hope. And to maintain the passion for my course. The last thing I need is to lose my passion for it cause that would just leave me complete clueless.
Attended orientation yesterday and it was good! No draggy speeches, just straight to the point. There's approximately 150 students, of which around 20 are international students. About 5 guys in total for the course, and about 5 Chinese in total too :S 99%, aussie angmohs! Seriously such a drastic change of culture compared to college.
My group has a Chinese and a guy! ;D HAHA. I'm in 1D, and from observation, it's the "Rebel" group. Piercings, Dark Eye shadow, Army boots and tatoos. But I'm sure it's gonna be awesome. Something tells me that our goup will be daring and different. Can't wait for classes this Tuesday!
Mommy left yesterday and I MISS HER! and I miss daddy too :( sigh.
Been organising my room in the new apartment. There's not enough space! How is Lisa gonna fit her stuff :S Went shopping for some stuff we needed for the apartment today. The apartment's almost complete! Yay. Just one sad thing, no internet yet till we sign up for the plan. AND IT'S SO FREAKING EXPENSIVE compared to back home! I feel so guilty imposing additional costs on my parents. I need a job desperately :(
Well anyway, till the internet's fixed, yours truly shall be snail mailing! Already bought the necessary stamps so WOOHOO.
xoxo. yummy song from the yummy trumpeteer/conductor from Beethoven Virus; a yummy korean drama. yummm :P
Against all odds.

Met with Lauren my childhood ballet mate today! We grew up together in ballet classes from young till recently. Had sushi and caught up on each other's lives which was good! Visited her college; Taylors and bumped into one of my cousins.
Gonna watch Boys Before Flowers later episode 9 ;D
And continue with my knitting (so far so good) As well as cook "Da Jiang Mian" YUMMMMMM!
Two highlights of the day: Firstly, I managed to get the gorgeous apartment I wanted. THANK YOU THANK YOU GOD ;D Really psyched about that because the apartment's absolutely lovely, fully furnished and superbly convenient.
Secondly, yours truly is picking up knitting on her own. Passed a knitting shop and just impromptu-edly bought the needles and wool, and thanks to the sales lady, I've gotten started. First project: to make a nice wool scarf for myself. Yay.
Sunday Sunday, was great! Morning went to VIC market and had yummy hot donut. Bought cherries and cooked chinese lunch!
Accompanied mummy to TARGET where we bought some stuff for my apartment. Oh gosh, later during late morning I hope hope we get the call saying we got the apartment! :S And I bought my yummy red nail polish. Yay.
Went to Larry and Lance's place for dinner which was GOOD! Chinese food again with a tad bit of western which was salad. Played with dear Tiger, the cutest most hyper active dog ever! I'll get photos one day :) and, yeah, watched the FED vs NAD tennis match. The game hasn't ended but COME ON FED HELLO!!!
xoxo.
p.s, Feddddd gooo!! Oh esther, guess what? I bumped into abi today in target lol.
